Legend Review

Let’s just say that my only gripe about this book is not starting it sooner. I’ve heard about it, but I don’t have a good relationship with dystopia, so I’d always pick this book up only to put it back down. Honestly, it’s one of the best books I’ve read this year, so I have high hopes for the rest of the series. My friend and I have both described it as what we wished The Hunger Games was.

Rating: 5/5 stars

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*

It honestly reminded me a lot of This Savage Song by Victoria / V. E. Schwab (only I think I liked the actual story a little bit better.)

I wanted to hate the romance, but I didn’t???

I adored reading this book so much that I actually broke my rule of not rating the individual books of a series on Goodreads. Then I proceeded to go out and buy the rest of the books because I am now trash for June and Day. No regrets.

I do have a question: do they ever reveal why Day’s Trial score was faked??? Hope they do.

I will say that some parts were a little teensy bit predictable, but not internal groan-inducing. So yeah, go read this book.
